Winter Spinach 3/18/08 - The ultimate spinach. Fresh, crunchy and delicious.
This was seeded on Oct 3. in Van, BC and had germinated before the hard winter hit. It was covered with a plastic canopy to protect it from frost and the heavy winter rains.

This is an emerging artichoke seedling, bursting to life.
