Introduction to
Permaculture Bees

Permaculture is an integrated design process that uses natural systems as inspiration for creating sustainable urban/agricultural environments. Permaculture focuses on positive solutions to reduce our ecological footprint. Permaculture beekeeping takes sustainability deeper and further by emphasizing the importance of bees in our urban edible landscapes. In partnership with plants bees are the foundation of life on this planet.

This brief course covers the basics of permaculture design (from a bee's point of view), how bees are essential to any sustainable system, and how to design with bees and sustainability in mind. No previous knowledge or experience of permaculture or bees is necessary to enjoy and learn from this class.
